Adam Mitchel Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an American singer and actor. He rose to fame in 2009 after competing on the eighth season of American Idol, ultimately becoming the runner-up. He is known for his songs “Whataya Want From Me” and “Ghost Town”, as well as for being the lead vocalist for the project Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011.
Lambert is a friend of Kesha.[1][2] They met when they were both being signed to a record label, presumably RCA Records.[1] Kesha appeared in the music video for Lambert’s song “If I Had You” in 2010.[3] In February 2016, he showed support for Kesha after her preliminary injunction was denied.[4]

- In 2010, Lambert and Kesha kissed at a nightclub after Lambert had publicly come out as gay.[5]
