Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993) is an American singer and actress. She began her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical 13, before playing the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010–2013) and in the spinoff Sam & Cat (2013–2014). She has also appeared in other theatre and television roles and has lent her voice to animated television and films.
She has released five studio albums as of 2019; Yours Truly, My Everything, Dangerous Woman, Sweetener, and thank u, next.
Kesha co-wrote the song "Pink Champagne" with Grande along with Pebe Sebert. Kesha also guest starred on an episode of Victorious, the show Grande starred on. Kesha and Grande have both showed support to each other during tragedies in their lives; Grande tweeted support when Kesha was denied a preliminary injunction and Kesha showed support to Grande after the bombing at her concert in Manchester on May 22, 2017.
