"Assistant" is the second episode of the second season of Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life.
Synopsis[]
The Westboro Baptist Church protests one of Ke$ha's shows, and Ke$ha struggles to find a new assistant who can handle her crazy lifestyle and family. The episode aired on November 6, 2013.
Summary[]
Ke$ha and her backup dancers decide to play a prank on her opening act, Semi Precious Weapons, by wearing cups over their private parts and tiger heads while they run around on stage.
Ke$ha's assistant, Nicole Peterson is quitting so she can spend more time with her boyfriend. With the help of her team, Ke$ha sought out to find a new assistant. At the same time, the notorious hate group known as the Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket of one her upcoming shows.
The first assistant candidate is a girl named Brianna, but Ke$ha and her team find out she drinks a lot, which isn't good. They decide to take her out to a bar to see if she will be responsible. Brianna gets drunk and does not get hired. The second candidate, Erica Summers, Ke$ha immediately likes and hires her, but without her mother's input.
Next Ke$ha deals with the Westboro Baptist Church picketing her show. Elias Mallin, her drummer, and Ke$ha's backup dancers go out to witness the whole thing. The church tells them to tell Ke$ha that what she is doing is unacceptable. Her dancer, Nick, tells them that Ke$ha spreads more love than they ever will. "She spreads it in an arena full, and this is a sqaure full of hate. She wins."
Ke$ha throws Nicole a going away party and is very sad she is leaving. Nicole thanks everyone and the party ends with a big group hug.
Erica is put to the test, and her first task is to not let Pebe and the dogs in who are muddy. Her next task is to take the dog on a walk, and while she's doing that, Ke$ha and Pebe discuss her. Both of them like her and Erica is officially part of the team.
