Freddie Ross Jr. (born January 28, 1978), known by her stage name Big Freedia, is an American rapper, singer, performer, and interior designer. She has been credited with helping to popularize the bounce genre.
Kesha is featured on her song, "Chasing Rainbows", which was originally set to be released in August 2019; however, it was pushed back to February 20, 2020. Freedia also joined Kesha on the Kesha's Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride Cruise in February 2019 and was to join her on the second cruise in October 2020, but was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was set to join the second cruise later in April 2022, but was ultimately unable to due to the event getting cancelled in February.
She is a close friend of Kesha's and is featured in "Raising Hell". She was to join Kesha as a special guest on select dates of her High Road Tour, until the tour's cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2022, she appeared in the sixth and final episode of the first season of Kesha's show, Conjuring Kesha.
