• A preliminary injunction, that would let Kesha be released from her contract, would be denied, which strengthened the #FreeKesha movement and receive support from many celebrities.
• Kesha embarking on her third headlining tour, Kesha and the Creepies: Fuck the World Tour, which would see her exploring different genres of music and reinventing some of her old songs.
• Kesha performing at the Billboard Music Awards, which would be prevented by Dr. Luke but was eventually allowed to go on.
