Charlotte Emma Aitchinson (born October 2, 1992), better known by her stage name Charli XCX, is an English singer and songwriter.

Charli rose to fame with her 2012 collaboration with Icona Pop, "I Love It". She was then featured on Iggy Azalea's hit single, "Fancy" in 2014. She achieved further success with her solo single, "Boom Clap" and her second solo album, Sucker.

In addition to her solo work, Charli XCX has co-written hit songs for other artists, including Iggy Azalea's "Beg for It" (2014), Selena Gomez's "Same Old Love" (2015), Blondie's "Tonight" (2017), and the Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello collaboration "Señorita" (2019).

One of Kesha's demos, "Victimless Crime", was given to Charli, but she ended up not releasing it. In 2016, Charli presented the Trailblazer Award to Kesha during the Billboard Women in Music Awards.

  • They have the same social media management, and a post of Charli thanking fans for her BRIT Awards nomination was posted on Kesha's Twitter account.
  • Kesha made a guest appearance during the Sweat Tour in LA to perform "Spring breakers" and then "TiK ToK", along with Australian singer, Troye Sivan.[1]
