"Cotton Candy" is a song written by Kesha for the show, Helluva Boss, which she voices a character for. The song was performed by her character, however Kesha did not provide her singing vocals. They were instead provided by Rochelle Diomonte. The song was produced and co-written by Drew Pearson.
Background[]
Show creator, Vivziepop, has stated Kesha is her favorite singer and she has wanted her to guest star in any of the shows she created. Several of Vivziepop's older videos on her channel were related to Kesha and her music, including her viral animated video for "Die Young".
In the show, Kesha plays the demon, Beelzebub, who is the Sin of Gluttony. Characters Loona and Vortex go to a party where Beelzebub is the hostess. To liven up the party, she sings the song "Cotton Candy".
