Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, actress, author, businesswoman, and philanthropist, known primarily for her work in country music.

Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert wrote the song "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You" and became #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Kesha has sung the song twice, the first as a solo for her second extended play, Deconstructed and the second as a duet with Parton herself for the album Rainbow. Kesha has also covered her song "Jolene" on tour.
