"Holiday Road" is a song by Lindsey Buckingham, released in 1983. Written for the 1983 film National Lampoon's Vacation, it was also used in the film's sequels National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985), Vegas Vacation (1997) and Vacation (2015). Kesha recorded a cover for "Spotify Singles Holiday" and was released exclusively on Spotify on October 15, 2024.[1][2][3]
Commercial performance[]
The cover entered the Billboard Hot Dance/Electric Songs chart at no. 43. It then rose to a new peak at no. 30 on November 23, 2024.[4] The following week, the song rose to no. 16. The song also reached a peak of no. 18 for the Top Female Holiday Songs Daily on Spotify on November 23, 2024.[5] The song charted on the official UK Singles chart at no. 88 on December 12, 2024.
