This page contains our rules and guidelines for the wiki. If something needs to be clarified or you need more help, contact an admin.

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in a warning. You will be banned if there is a need to.

Behavior

  1. While the severity of some of the punishments may be listed here, the admins are ultimately allowed to decide what the final punishment is. That includes an immediate ban without warning.
  2. Treat everyone with respect, no bullying or harassment.
  3. If you come to a disagreement with someone, keep it civil. If it escalates, a warning will be issued to everyone involved.
  4. Do not give out warnings if you are not an admin. Report something to an admin if there is a problem.
  5. We do not accept homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny or any discrimination of any kind.
  6. Inappropriate comments will not be deleted as they will be a reminder to people on how not to act.
  7. Please respond to admins when they message you on your message board. You will have a week to answer them.
  8. Sockpuppeting to evade a previous block is against the rules and will result in being immediately blocked.
  9. Please do not spam comments. This includes if the spam is across multiple pages.

Editing

We are working on getting everything consistent on the wiki, but it's still a work in progress. If you see something that doesn't match our formatting (that will be posted here soon), feel free to edit it!

  • Under Construction: When you are making a large edit, PLEASE use the template below to let users know it’s being edited. You don’t have to put this notice up if it’s only a minor edit. If the notice has been up longer than an hour, it can be removed.

THIS ARTICLE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Please refrain from editing until this notice is removed.

  • Sources: Be sure to provide sources with your information, especially if it doesn't come from Kesha herself, her team, or a reliable music news source. This way our pages aren't filled with a bunch of false information or rumors.
  • Lyrics: When posting the lyrics to a song, put them in a scrollbox. If there's mutliple versions of the lyrics to a song, use a tabber. If you need help with coding, check other pages to see how it's done. For clean versions, if it’s significantly different, (ex. "Woman", "High Road"), then they should be added. If not, don’t.
  • Do NOT undo admin edits.
  • Punctuation: PLEASE try to use proper punctuation while you’re editing. Remember, albums, television shows, and magazine titles are italicized and song names are in quotation marks.
  • Templates: Be sure to use the correct template for the singers, songs, singles, unreleased songs, and promotional singles each have their own template box.
  • Songwriters and Producers page: If the songwriter/producer have worked with Kesha on more than one occasion, then they do warrant a page. Otherwise, they are not worthy enough for a page if it's just one song. If you see a page that only has one song on it, mark it for deletion and it will be taken care of. This doesn't include singers and rappers and bands. We are doing our best thing to keep our stub pages to a minimum.
  • Article names for People: Article names for people should be their professional names or the name they are most known for. Do not name them with their real names.
  • Kesha's name in articles: Any article having to do with the years 2009-2013, refer Kesha as Ke$ha. Anything from 2014-present; birth-2008, use her name as Kesha [may change].
  • Badge Fraud: Making unconstructive edits for the sake of earning badges is considered badge fraud and will result in a short ban. Continue to do so with result in a longer ban, then eventually a permanent ban. This will apply to comments as well.
  • Formatting: When editing pages, make sure the formatting is consistent with other pages. If you need help, take a look at how other pages are done.
  • SINGLES: A few defining factors for what songs are considered singles: stated by Kesha herself and if it was serviced to radio stations (this would also include if the song was serviced to certain countries, e.g. "Learn to Let Go", "My Own Dance").
  • Gallery Page Format: Some pages have their own Gallery page. If the gallery is for a person, have a separate section with the header: Images with Kesha, meaning only images with Kesha should be in that section. The section above should be of the person only. That section should be limited to six images max. The exception would be for Kesha's family, team, friends, and pets.
  • Language: Keep in mind, this is an AMERICAN wiki, so we use American-ized English. Do not add European English to this wiki or any other language that would not apply. If you would like to make a wiki in a different language, let an admin know!
  • New Categories: If you are going to add a new category, run them by an admin first to get approved.
  • Deletion: When you mark a page for deletion, use the {{Delete}} template. Do NOT delete the content. An admin will take care of it.
  • Links for Leaks: If you post a link to a leak, make sure the site is safe. We prefer if you use either Google Drive or Dropbox, that way it is easier and safer for people to use.
  • Renaming: Please do not rename the pages. If it needs to be renamed let an admin know. We are trying to eliminate as many redirects as possible.
  • Remixes: Only official remixes should be on the song's page. Do not add fan made/unofficial remixes.
  • Image Qualities: If you find an image with a higher quality, REPLACE the original file, rather than uploading a new one. That way we don’t have to go through every page the image is on and insert the new file.
  • Infobox Images: These images are important as they are usually the official representation of the songs, albums or people discussed in the article. Please do not change these images without cause. Images used in infoboxes should be HD (720p or higher), a clear view of whatever is being discussed, and properly named.
    • Albums: The images in the infoboxes for albums should have any official artwork, with the standard one being first.
    • Singles/Promotional Singles: Images should be the official single artwork if there is one. If not, use the album the song is from.
    • Other Album Tracks: Image should be from the album the song is from. This includes her features that weren't released as singles.
    • Covers: If the song was has a studio version released, use the artwork that was used in the release. If the song is only a live cover, use the original artist and song's artwork.
    • Unreleased: An image is already included in the infobox template for unreleased songs. If the song did have an artwork made for it, then it should be included.
    • People: The image for a person should show the subject's face clearly, a recent picture if possible (preferably no more than 3 years), and should at least show from the waist up.
  • Audio Widgets: As of 2025, we will be implementing a Spotify widget for songs, as this helps with streaming numbers. Under Spotify should be an official YouTube upload of the song's audio. The Audio section should he placed above the Videos section. Tabbers should be used when implementing different versions of the songs.
    • For singles and promotional singles, please add the upload with the song's official cover art (see "Only Love Can Save Us Now" and "My Own Dance" as examples).
    • Only add a version if it's a remix featuring a different artist (e.g. "The Sleazy Remix", "Die Young REMIX", "Crazy Kids").
    • The clean version should only be added if the lyrics are significantly different (e.g. "High Road").
    • Do NOT add slowed or sped up versions, acapellas or instrumentals to this section.
    • ONLY add Acoustic versions if it's a studio recording, NOT a live recording.
    • For remix songs that feature Kesha, ONLY add the version with her in it. No need to add the original to the section (e.g. "Fancy Like" and "Drop Dead")
  • Slider: Please do not edit or change the images to the Home page Slider.
  • Playlists: The Keshapedia site has put together some playlists that includes tour setlists or compilations not officially available on streaming services. Only Spotify widgets containing playlists created by Keshapedia are allowed on articles, but feel free to add some to your user page or blog posts!
