The Last Girl on Earth Tour is the third headlining concert tour by Rihanna in support of her fourth studio album, Rated R. The tour visited Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. The tour was announced through MTV News in December 2009. The tour kicked off in Antwerp, Belgium on April 16, 2010 at Sportpaleis and ended in Perth, Australia on March 12, 2011 at the Burswood Dome. Five shows in Washington, Utah, Colorado, Georgia, and Indiana were cancelled. Kesha opened on the North American leg of the tour and she performed twenty-seven shows in total.
Background and development[]
On April 5, 2010 it was announced Kesha would open on the North American leg of the tour. Rapper, Nicki Minaj, was also scheduled to join the tour, but pulled out to focus on working on her album.
