"Learn to Let Go" (also known as "Learn to Let It Go") is a song performed by Kesha. It serves as the sixth track on Kesha's third album Rainbow and the second single from the album in Europe only. Two remixes of "Learn to Let Go" by Feenixpawl and Michael Brun were released on November 10, 2017.
The song was first mentioned in an interview with The New York Times. It was described as "something you'd hear in heavy rotation on radio with Kesha's beautiful, low voice singing that a happy ending is up to you" by the interviewer. It was written about her recent hardships and inspired by a friend who survived "the worst childhood imaginable".[2]

For the video we play on that concept by incorporating home movies that my aunt Sonia Sebert had filmed over the years and then we recreate some of the scenes with me as an adult in a really whimsical kind of way. It’s this idea of reconnecting to my child-like self because that’s when you are so full of wonder and joy. You can choose to learn from the bullshit along the way but not dwell on it and and instead connect with that joyful childhood innocence.
Been a prisoner of the past
Had a bitterness when I looked back
Was tellin' everyone it's not that bad
'Til all my shit hit the fan
I know I'm always like
Tellin' everybody you don't gotta be a victim
Life ain't always fair but hell is livin' in resentment
Choose redemption your happy ending's up to you
I think it's time to practice what I preach
Exorcise the demons inside me
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
The past can't haunt me if I don't let it
Live and learn and never forget it
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
Had a boogieman under my bed
Puttin' crazy thoughts inside my head
Always whisperin' it's all your fault
He was tellin' me no you're not that strong
I know I'm always like
Tellin' everybody you don't gotta be a victim
Life ain't always fair but hell is livin' in resentment
Choose redemption your happy ending's up to you
So I think it's time to practice what I preach
Exorcise the demons inside me
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
The past can't haunt me if I don't let it
Live and learn and never forget it
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Learn to let go, learn to let go
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Learn to let go, learn to let go
I'm done reliving my bad decisions
I see now maybe there's a reason
Why I, I, I, I, I, I been through hell and back
Yeah honestly it's what made me who I am
Holdin' on to wasted time
Gotta learn to let go in life
So I think it's time to practice what I preach
Exorcise the demons inside me
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
The past can't haunt me if I don't let it
Live and learn and never forget it
Whoa gotta learn to let it go
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Learn to let go, learn to let go
Hey yeah
Hey yeah
Learn to let go, learn to let go
