"Spring breakers" is a song by English singer, Charli XCX from her sixth studio album, brat. A remix featuring Kesha, stylized as "Spring breakers featuring kesha", was released on October 14, 2024 at 11 am CST.[1] The song was added to the streaming version of Disc 1 on the remix album, brat and it's completely different but also still brat.
Background[]
Their collaboration was teased during Charli's brat album promotion cycle. On March 4, 2024, Charli first compared Kesha to brat.[2] On April 13, 2024, Kesha's name appeared on a truck screen in London for brat's lead single, "Von Dutch".[3] It was initially believed she would be featured on the standard album, but ended up being untrue. She was not featured on the standard edition of the remix album, brat and it's completely different but also still brat either. The day prior to its release, the remix was teased on a truck screen with the song's title, then Kesha's name, and finally "tomorrow".[4] Charli XCX officially announced the track, using a screenshot of Kesha's twitter when their management accidentally posted photos of Charli.

The song was performed live together for the first time during Charli XCX's coheadlining tour sith Troye Sivan, Sweat Tour in LA on October 15, 2024.[5][6]
