Wayne Michael Coyne (born January 13, 1961) is the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the band The Flaming Lips. He has worked on multiple songs with Kesha such as "Past Lives" and "You Control My Heart".
He has become a good friend of Kesha's as well as a strong supporter of her being able to release what the singer desires.
